How many of you muzzleloaders were so-o good and used your guns and such with great care and safety all year that Santa saw fit to give you so-o much snow you could build snowforts, snowbirds, snowdeer, snow targets, and snowmen for the little ones  -   that you can practice till 2010?

We actually had a white Christmas here in North Texas but not even enough here for much more than a snowball or two...

Hawken50

Here in Virginia we had about 2 feet for a week, then started pouring rain Christmas day.Kind of a mess now.

Only had some flurries the other day, calling for snow this tuesday, so I am headin out this afternoon to see if anything can be made to fall from the Can Tuk Ay.

Here in Michigan we don't even have enough to cover the grass. Temps low to mid 30's and 50% humidity, cold and windy. Miserable weather, would rather have it a little colder and snow. Reminds me of San Antonio in mid winter.

Here in NE Kansas we had about 6-8 in. We made it out just before the storm came in. Traveled to far SW Kansas for the hoiday. Got back tonight and had to shovel 4-5 ft drifts to get in the garage. Welcome home hdslp.

At least you got out!  I have my chevy Silverado 1500 sitting in the ditch on my property and the Ford Ranger isn't even trying to get up the hill.  We have not been out since the 23rd!  No one can get in to help us out so we are stuck (forgive the pun).  called for propane deliver on the 22nd when i heard how bad this storm might be and did not get the delivery... hope he will be here today or tomorrow and can get that heavy rig up the hill or we could be in some serious trouble!  We have gone through a cord of wood already and are out of firewood....

What, you only cut one cord...shame on you....my wood shed is only half full, but I do have the last load of logs still sitting under a snow bank beside my garage....If the cold holds, I may have to dig it out to cut!!
Good luck with the gas truck..

I must have been a rotten little so and so this year. No snow, but freezing with clear blue sky. Best star watching around here in some time, the air ain't this clear most times. Now it's warming up and the snow level on the hills behind us looks like it went from 2500' to 4000'. since I don't have to be back to work until the 4th. I think I'll load up the jeep and cruise some of the lower fire roads. I need to burn some black and sight in a .22 and play with the '03 Springfield. The dog also needs a break from the women folk.
