  Hit a dove once so far away ... when I was going thru his pockets and his watch was an hour fast ... he was in a different time zone.

I once shot a goose and got 2 black eyes at the same time. I was using my cousins 10 ga double front stuffer for goose hunting and accidently shot both barrels of 150gr powder with 2oz of shot at the same time! OUCH, blacked both my eyes and really tor up the goose, too!

I used to own a 14 guage double, shot a squirrel one time so far away that I walked half a day until dark, checked into a motel for the night and got to him about 11:00 am the next day.

Well thank ya kindly ya 'ol reprobate. :) I sold that one to Windwalker up in Alaska about 4 years ago and he finally broke down and agreed to sell it back to me recently.

Thanks guys. I like the looks and feel of the NW guns. Had a couple of Carolina smoothbores that we nice too, but like the simple Tradegun better. And it shoots real good too. This one will be going turkey hunting in Oct. as well as deer and elk hunting. This one even developed a name, which is a first for me as i have never named a gun. But in the dickering Windwalker and i did when i was trying to talk him back out of it it came to be known as 'Ol Fence Post. :)
