Tom (2-bellys) asked me to restock his CVA Squirrel gun that he had punched out to 40 smooth . He wanted a fullstock and had a maple plank that he sent along with his parts . I been whittlin at it off n on and its taking me longer than it should but being the patient and kind feller he is hes putting up with my slackin while takin care of some matters :)
Any who heres a peek !

The top blank is his after cutting out .

If you look close you can see the cast off in the barrel layout as well as in the buttstock. The blank wasnt thick enough to get it from one end or the other so had to adlib :)

I have the barrel channel ,r/r channel and hole drilled now along with some excess wood slabbed off. The lock goes in tomorrow. I'll try and get some more picks up then.

Wont he be surprised to see the works when he gets back :) Hope to have it all roughed in by then ,heh heh heh heh !!

I like to be able to reach and grab from my stool. Right now theres about an inch of chips and sawdust on floor and I havent even went at it with draw knife yet :)

It's not what tool you use to hunt with.
