A bit more progress but nothing that shows  I got the innards of the lock whittled into stock . Guess I better get the barrel pinned in next and the lock bolts drilled and in place so I can put the trigger in

Gettin closer !! A little progress , I got the barrel lugs on and pinned in stock . The trigger is made and put in too . Now for the trigger plate and tang bolt . I'll get some pics up tomorrow after I get the trigger guard made and on .

Not too much longer  Barrel channel and r/r groove is the most tedious . Cant wait to go at it with the axe and ol' beavertooth lol lol lol !!!

I'll get some up this eve. right now it looks the same except a trigger pokin out the wood :) Hopin to have guard done and on today !

Thanks, Frank! I'm just anxious to see the stock start takin shape. I'v done this myself on one occasion and had to have a buddie help me get the carving back in line. lol. If you could show the laying out of the wood before the removal of "what's not stock" sure would be helpful too me. Very much appreciated, thank you very much.
