Finished it up today while we are snow bound in the house. I haven't mastered the engraving and carving enough to include it on this build so I calling it done other than needing a few more coats of Tru-coat oil. I applied Ye Colonial aqua fortis that brought out some curl that I didn't know existed .

Wow!  I'm impressed with those builds.  I'd love to have any one of them.  Too bad nothing's available  OTC with that kind of quality.

Still working on making it go boom ..I took it out to proof it and it would not ignite the main charge. It is a patten breech from CVA with a deep vent liner. I don't think the powder was getting tapped down into the liner. I took it apart and did a little coning on the outside of the liner and drilled it a little bigger hole. Hope it works this time, I'm really wanting to hunt with it this fall.
