I am blanket poor - the only blanket I will need in the next 10 - 20 years is a true Pendleton or Hudsens Bay blanket made in the 17-1800's - with paperwork - then I will buy one, other than that I think wew have about 30 sitting around the camp just in case it gets cold...

Are these blankets period correct? If I got a couple and went to a rondy, would I be booted out due to the things being NOT period correct? $25.00 is a lot better than the $185.00 from places online. I'm living on a fixed income so the savings would really help.

While not strictly period correct, if they are 100% wool and not white or a garish color most blankets will pass inspection... the main point to remember is that in the time frame we are looking at what color dyes were available?  red, green, blue, mahogany (dark brown/black), cream were acceptable along with some others -

I've never been around the blankets, are they all for a single cot or mattress? Just wondering about the size. I have a really nice air mattress and would like somethin to cover it up so people won't rag on me at the rondy's I can use it to cover my sleeping bag and a foam pad to I guess. My old bones enjoy a soft bed, not the ground.

One thing to remember about roundys is, as long as it is inside your tent you can have just about any thing you want.
