N.B.Davis& Company .44 cal caplock

I picked this rifle up a while back and its become my favorite shooting rifle..What little I can find out about the N.B.Davis company was they started making rifles in 1853 and in 1860 the changed the name to N.B.Davis &Sons..So I assume the rifle was made around 1860..The barrel is 33 1/4" long and mics out at .44 cal..Fun shooting little rifle and is very accurate..

Rick that is the first box lock i have seen with a set trigger that is real nice.
