USA Today Poll on Gun ownership

Obama's new Attorney General, Eric Holder, has already said this is one of his major issues. He does not believe the 2ndAmendment gives individuals the right to bear arms. This takes literally 2 clicks to complete.   Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today.  It will only take a few seconds of your time.  Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know.   Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court's accepting the  District of Columbia  case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

Here's what you need to do:

First - vote on this one.

Second - launch it to other folks and have THEM vote - then we will see if the results get published.

The Question is:

"Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?"

This may be an old 2007 poll judging from its URL...and I think I voted in it long ago from my home PC.
But just tried it from my PC here at work with its different IP Address and it took my vote again  ;D

Can you check the date of the larger article that this poll was a part of?

Red Badger

It has been around for a while I voted on it and brought it up here before.....

Just so it's clear, nobody was being critical...in fact, I found it interesting to see a current snapshot of the results to date...approaching 6 million (97%) who answered yes, the 2nd amendment gives the right to bear arms

Yup - Heather I did not mean to make it sound like you were wrong to bring this up again... sorry for poor phrasing if it did sound that way...

The nice thing about polls like that is that you can do them "Chicago' style. "Vote early, Vote often."
