I would just like to say thanks to all those who have got me started in Muzzleloading.
I've picked up a work of art as my first gun and for a price that I almost feel bad about.
I know he is not on these forums but his helpfullness as with many others in Blackpowder is uncomparable.
I'd like to know what to insure this for what its worth?
I'll never sell it just for the fact of who I got it from. It is made by Hatfield. Its a 36 cal Cap gun. It was Toby Bridges old gun and I have proof of that in records of email I have had with Toby. I heard from him it was the only 36 cal gun Hatfield made that was Cap fired. Pictures do not do this gun justice

you can really tell if it is toby bridges old gun  ,if it has holes for a scope mount on it, bridges has done more to damage traditional muzzle loading than  than p.e.t.a. has to the fur industry. no reflection on your rifle the hatfield is indeed a fine  rifle .

I did not think there was a cure - just the 12 shot program... 12 shots at least once a week until you can hit the make one big hole out of all 12 shots... then you have to get a new Black powder rifle or pistol and start all over

Yes, mentioning toby bridges name as the former owner does not INCREASE the value at all...could only hurt it.

JamminJim- I take this as well. All Y'all make the addiction better?? . I think enablers would be an appropriate label.?? My wife thinks so. I would never put a label like that on any of the Good Folks here. Thanks for all your help and great advice.
