mule ear lock ??

I think I want to convert my H&A Minuteman to a sideslapper..
I bookmarked a site that showed how to build your own..and, now can't locate it..
My wife "changed" things on our computer,      I lost a lot of stuff. 

Does anyone know of the site  ??

Ray, try Cabin Creek Muzzleloaders, also do a search for Mule ear lock, there was a guy here on the Key peninsula who carried and built side slappers

There is one on e-bay right now also a underhammer action.  Now to convert a h @ A minuteman to muleear. The problems are if you use your barrel you have to the sights and underlugs over two flats and drill a hole for your new nipple.  If already a flintlock you may be lucky and not have to do all the new dovetails but I don't know and haven't done one.
  If you go with a new barrel it would be a standard barrel replacement except for lining up the nepple with the lock. Hope this helps.

its a sidelock,  kinda like an underhammer, but its on the side...  fires just like an underhammer, cept its on the side. direct into the powder.
