got this knife from my brother in law he had it when he was in the boy scouts he is now 66 years old he got it when he was 14 years old,it had a leather stacked handle which was beyond redemption,so i did a cape lilac handle for it its now a very good pig sticker,the blade is 8" long and gets a good edge its a japnese blade,i have not had time to make a new sheath for it yet but the origional one will do for now.
