Took my brand new Remington Revolving Carbine out today to find how it shot, loaded up with 6 shots and fired away. 6 cans in a row go flying! Loaded again....BAM! One more can, BAM!...Missed can? Look through sight....hey!...isn't that supposed to be sight's, not sight?...where is it? Checked barrel....hey!...where did the end of my barrel go? Last shot took the tip of the barrel off clean as a whistle!! All I can figure is that when the sight slot was milled a stress crack developed and the last shot was the straw that broke the camels back. Send it back to Cabelas tomorrow for full refund...lucky I bought it from them!

Dryball!  Hmmmm....that must've been a reel seeprize!  Cabelas seem to be good people.  Maybe your barrel will stay on next time you shoot.

I went on a woods walk Saturday down at a Rondy.  Only two of us shooting.  Had my little .45 Lancaster and didn't miss a target.  Sho was fun.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

Dryball

More of a shock...I had no idea the barrel had blown till I tried my next shot and saw no sight.

How weird!  How does your new barrel shoot?
