Bernie got me thinkun ... went n horse traded today and got back my Deluxe Tryon Rilfe   from a friend now totin one of my repeattun rifles.
   He never shot it but robbed the ramrod from it... now replaced.
please get out the bibs n drool buckets

Which one for protection, feline or firearm?   Really, glad its home where it will be appreciated more!

Yeah ... The rifle was purchased from the Great Bucky Malson (now deceased) many years ago when I rubbed elbows wiff important folk.
The kitty in the background is 17 years old and very loved...
the cat to watch out for is the all white one ... she attacked a 130 lb german shepard the other night and made him run ...
     The gun is 45 caliber w/ 1 inch barrel   on the heavy side ...
checked the bore and it is spotless ... should be able to shoot it tomorrow.
If I can remember how to pop a caplock.
Nothing like an old friend... you be right.

thats better woody i can see here now,next to a hawken and clifornian plains rifles the tryon is a great  favorite of mine,if you ever get a chance at one in .54 at a good price jump on it you will love it they just hang so nice when shooting of hand,i think that the tryons patch box is one of the nicest i have seen.
