The Rondy with Ned and Bigfoot today was more fun than I have had in a long time...was so glad we got to meet and at our Annual Rondy ta boot. It was my pleasure to make your aquaintance...
Here's what I posted on the BPR forum and will provide the link to the pics as seen on Page2.

Met Ned Christy and Bigfoot at the Rondy today they came down from up North.
I must say Ned is a bad influence on me as much as I was on him. First off at the Old Sage Trading Post while lookin at rifles he pointed out to me a Mowery .50 cal rifle at a good price. If that wasn't enough he asked Glen the Owner if he took Plastic, which he did. Then Ned handed me the dang Mowery...of course you who know me that was all it took. Next thing you know I'm on the walk thru course shootin' it with Ned and Bigfoot...and Lovin' life, yup now I got a Mowery from the original owner. What a sweet rifle it is too.
Well I got Ned back ... he had brought a sweet .32 Hawken and din't bring no .50...these targets were some near and some far, and he was shootin' into a head wind. I offered Ned my Poorboy or the Mowery, but we decided to take a break and go shoppin' again. Well Same Tradin' post He found a sweet .54 Hawken I pointed out to him and with all he needed to shoot it we went back and finnished the course. I'll admit to one long shot he hit with his new .54 that i missed ... but will admit to no more... :O)
He did real good and we had a good time together, I gave him my last Old Milwaukee NA beer for out shootin' me on that one shot. LoL!
I was havin' such a good time and so excited I got a Mowery I called Sundance in Mississippi jus' as the sun was about to go below the Mountain.
Was invited to dinner with the Decon, Dale & his wife Jackie(he ain't no Decon). I had a ball, and goin' back up there tomorrow.

Smokin, I want to thank you for making me feel at home...I had the best time I've had...gun wise..in 30 years. We gotta do it again! I'll be postin some photos tomorrow to go with yours. Thanks again Smokin...you made my day!

I'm up for it anytime Ned... We can practice with our new Walk thru Rondy Rifles and take 1st & 2nd place next year :O) I'll wait till the 2 tie breaker shots to say who came in 2nd... LoL!
Hell I never went to a Rondy an Bought a Rifle let alone buy one with a guy I was shootin' with at the same time.
Lookin' forward the the rest of the photography.
Bigfoot done a good job...

looks like you all had a great time, wish i could have made it there. which is really to bad sense its only 100 miles from me.

Go to a rondy and buy a new gun..must be nice--I have trouble buying enough patches to get through the shooting.  Looks like a great time was had by all.. Hope to get to my first rondy out in San Berdu Mts over labor day.  Let's see some of our group get together there.
