The mix is everything from 9-2's. Just guessing I'd say the longest shot was @ 45yd's when ya figure the distance from the tree to how far up that future meal was. She's still my go to gun. Not the prettiest girl at the dance, but does have the best personality.

Prolly this one, my Pedersoli Kentucky, gets used the most I think out of all of them. Suppose all are favorites on one day or the other, depends on what I'm hunting I think. Need to add as well that my wife and daughter presented me with this rifle upon my retirement from the El Paso Police Dept. in November of 2004. Great rifle.

My latest favorite. A Dixie Cub in .40 cal. made by Pedersoli. Been looking for a .40 for a long time....to say the least I'm on cloud 9.

That .40 will do you proud. Had a .40 as my first rifle some number of days ago.

I can understand that. Many people think that a .40 is not a good caliber for much of anything. I differ on that opinion because I know that I killed many many deer and hogs with mine. I may one day build me another one. Mine was stolen when I went in the Marine Corps. Sure do miss that rifle.

My favorite rifle  Is so because it has  much sentimental value  for Two reasons  first and foremost it was given to me  By my brother Micanopy   I had built a rather large display unit out of maple  so his family could display all their cool stuff  such as clay pottery and Indian artifacts and the like . Upon finishing the install  I see Micanopy with this rifle  at first i was thinkin  Cool.. He got a new one  let me see . But before i could say that  He walks over to me and  says  Even trade and gives me the rifle . Now i hadnt built this to get a thing i had done so out of my love for him and his family  This jester brought a tear to my eye and it was all i could do to keep from lettin more than  one  or two escape ( gotta keep that macho image you know). This rifle will forever be with me as a cherished gift. Second reason is this is the rifle that i used to take my One and most likely only Buffalo with. This was a major hunt for me  as i have Kiowa ancestry and the Buffalo is a sacred animal. I was honored to hunt her and to have Micanopy and my other family with me to watch.  The rifle i speak of is a CVA .50 cal   I have only hunted with it once . and have only shot it about 15 times  and i like it alot.     Here is a pic of the rifle.....

Yes  He is indeed.  He has helped me learn a lot  about hunting and even myself  I have been fortunate to have such a man to call my brother .

Lady of the Woods

wow fellas ya'll have so many nice rifles! I would be jealous if I didn't have the prettiest one of all with my Lady of the Woods by Mr. Dangler. that said, there sure are some beauties out there and anything given by a brother is priceless.

I am truely humbled. That rifle has been in on the killing of two buffalo. I knew it would be placed in good hands.

If I had to choose one rifle it would be my poor boy in 54 cal.
It is the one I feel the most comfortable with.
Very reliable and accurate.

Dryball

Good lookin rifle also. Say, noticed your water bottle....how is it made?
