Found this in an old post and thought it would be useful to any of the new shooters.

22 LR = 5

.320 ACP = 7


.380 ACP = 10


.30 cal Carbine = 20


.38 Special = 23


.357 Mag = 27


.45 Auto = 26


.44 Colt = 35


.45 Colt = 41


.38-40 = 40


.30-30 = 42


.30-06 = 70


.45-70 = 83

BOTTLE NECKED RIFLE BRASS CUT at the start of the neck angle !

These are by weight in grains with either FFg or FFFg Blackpowder.

NOT FOR USE WITH FFFFg !!!!!!

My hunting load was 70 grains of 3F in my .50 and also my .45 and 20 ga smoothbore.  I cut a few 30/06, and some other cases holding a smaller amount, and have brass measures for just about everything I shoot.  Thanks for posting the chart.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.
