Beaver Creek (Sterling Oklahoma) monthly shoot

We had 8 shooters on Saturday August 20th
There was no novelty target this month so we only shot gongs.

1st place Ron
2nd place Keith
I don't remember who came in 3rd, but Keith and I had the best shoot off I've been in in years.

Beaver Creek September match

Gongs only again.

We only had 4 shooters and after a 1 shot shootoff it was Doug and Ron tied for first.

Jeff brought a flintlock grenade gun and shot it with dirt filled pop can halves. It was interesting to fire, but the touch hole was plugged when I tried it and it took several tries to get it to go off.
When it finally went off there was a big cloud of dust and that is about all.

Fall rendezvous will be October 21 & 22 with early set up allowed on the 20th. I will be running the gong shoot and the new shooter area.
