You all probably already know about this but in case you don't.Saw some blankets on Cheaper Than Dirt.Said they were 40% wool. Some were $14 and some were $9.Not sure they were any good but I though I'd pass it along.

Make sure you check the shipping cost of the item first, if you're in the lower 48 and they are wanting $30 for shipping then it aint no kind of a good deal.

Also, as far as brand names go, Pendleton, Golden Dawn and of course Hudson Bay make nice thick 100% virgin wool blankets, and the pic of then should show the label on it.  If it's not there and the seller is calling it that, then be sure to ask exactly why with no label.

You can actually find real Hudson Bay blankets out there but the price goes up on them quick most of the time, but not always.  If you can live with a small hole here and there or frayed edges you can get the real deal like I did recently, for under $40.

Most wool blankets clean up nicely if made from quality wool (virgin or lambs wool is best) and give you plenty of material for making into shirts, coats, capotes, or just bedrolls.
