Powder is available at Graf & Son so I ordered 6 lbs and it came today.  I feel much more secure how that I have fuel for my longrifles.  It's actually Goex powder with a not-too-bad cost.

I am WELL stocked, but it is good to know those that didn't plan are able to get some.

I usually buy Graf's brand which is cheaper and, maybe, just a bit cleaner burning than GOEX. It's really relabeled Schuetzen powder from Germany.

For a bit more oomph in my loads, I use Olde Eynsford powder.

You WILL NOT like my shooting results!  The only way I can (now) shoot a decent group is to let someone else hold the gun/aim/pull the trigger! 

Also the Graf's powder is now made by Goex and no longer imported.  The rest of my powder is still with a friend in VA.  Just don't know when/how I'll reunite with it.  Extra lead is down there too.

Thank you for the news on that. Is it straight regular GOEX or a different particle size?

It comes in 1F, 2F & 3F & 4F I got 3F.

You can try reducing the number of shots in your groups.  I get satisfactory results by reducing the number of shots in a string to one.  My groups usually measure about 0.495 inches ....... pretty impressive shooting eh?

I've done that and the ball always keyholes.

Lead? Why lead just shows up in the strangest places sometimes.

Oh!  No complaints.  I don't look at powder like most do.  What I buy is perfect!  In other words, if it was any finer I wouldn't be able to afford it.  And if it were any worse I wouldn't want it.

UPDATE!  I bought from Graf's just before the shortage when the fit hit the shan.  As all of you well know Goex is closed and won't start back making powder for months (+ or -).  So it's been a while since Graf's had to find a new powder supplier (Schuetzen??) to take up the slack.  I barely dodged the bullet with my order. 

I also was able to pick up a few cans of Goex and half a can of 3F Swiss.  The Swiss really shines in my .32.

Cleaning up my gun room...came up with about  a dozen cans of black.  Guess I'm not hurting for this month shooting with my grandson....

I was able to pick up a couple lbs of KIX 3F at the Woolaroc traders fair. My 45 cal Natchez Poor Boy sure likes it
