   Welcome back. Take a dive in the deep end and get involved, it's more fun than should be legal.

Thanks to all. I listen (read) more than I talk, but will chime in with questions from time to time. Introduced to muzzloading at a young age at the Gemmer club in MO. Since then, I have spent most of my time in TN. My experience has mostly been deer hunting with factory percussion Hawkens in .50 cal. I am most interested in exploring flintlocks, learning to run ball, and aquiring either a .45 or .54 flinter (whichever crosses my path at the right time).

Bucket list muzzleloader would be a custom southern poorboy longrifle, but for now I am all about function over form. A good shooting CVA/TC in the hand beats a custom rifle in the dreams.
