I have a pattern for the Ft Ligonier Boot that I was given by people of the Ft Ligonier Historical Society while our reenacting group was privy to a private tour which included the archives in the basement where repairs and clean up of artifacts donated to them take place. They had prints of the Forts resident shoe/boot makers' pattern log book from the 1750's. They gave us several copies and told use we could pass them on and copy for recreation purposes. I've made several pair, summer and winter packs. Many commercial makers make them, but they are incorrect in their construction. If you want a copy, PM me. I'll need some info and stamps to mail it.

Those look pretty good, too.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.
