  Yes!  Tonight the great pumpkin rises, demons run wild, witches fly on their broomsticks and the dead  walk.  What, I ask, could be better?

I have lived here since 1976 and have never had a trick or treater show up ..... or maybe all the traps and the deadfall got them??

In the South we call him "Punkinhead".  Actually, he doesn't get around much as the "swamp boojums" pretty much rule the night.  But that's the Deep South for you.

We don't have trick or  treaters come to the door any more.  Unfortunately that means I don't have a "treat" for "Thak", my dog - uh, I think he may be a dog but just ain't sure.   He never barks, only growls and screams.  He also slaps his chest like a gorilla , and I don't know how/why he does that.  He's also not a lap...whatever, and he seems to know he would crush me and the recliner.  I've seen him pick up the front end of a pickup truck to get rid of a salesman (without gastronomically doing it).
