Just a little note  the old Badger finally went and got his back fixed (we Hope) yesterday!  In surgery about 2 hours and 2 hrs later giving the nurses in recovery a bad time!  As of 9 pm he was being allowed to go to the outhouse by himself but was tired and ready for bed.  hope to bring him home maybe today if not tomorrow.

Glad I'm not the only Member who gives the medical personnel a hard time. Just remember Badger, give them lots of hassle but do what they tell you to do. You'll be out and about much quicker.

Why am I not surprised? Glad to hear it was quick and am certain it will be a fast recovery.  thmbsup
I am the one your mom warned you about!

Hanshi

Nothing beats being a good patient.  Rest, follow doctor's orders and heal up quickly.  I'm in your cheerleading club.

Good to hear will continue prayers for a speedy recovery.  Just listen to your doctors and don't overdo it.  They told me walking was the best exercise to strength your  back.

Tell him to sneak up on the physical aspects of things for a while. He may think he's still 25 but his body will tell him different. I've added him to my prayer list. Please keep us informed on his progress until he can start the job of keeping us all on the straight and narrow.

doggoner

P.S. You're on the prayer list also.

Hey guys. I am home (and behaving myself) more or less... can't get to the jug but that is a good thing as the oxicodone is doing its job...

Be good and I will check in every once in a while.  Doc says I might get to go to Rendezvous later in the fall if I behave...

Hanshi

Better behave then; right?  Remember, froggy patients end up croaking.  And don't forget that you'll need to be in top form if you want to survive the urchins when you go back to work.

What Hanshi said, follow instructions. Especially the "get off your duff and exercise" ones. Remember if those students sense any weakness, they will turn on you and tear you up into tiny badger bits in the blink of an eye.

That oxycodone stuff just makes me feel queasy. Ibuprofen works better on me with no side effects.
Back surgery is no joke. Follow directions.

Take it easy and rehab on your own pace. I feel for you twice over.
