interesting piece , almost had to be a wall gun . cant imagine trying to move it around from spot to spot on the battlefield !

there`s several antique weapons pages on facebook . lot of " cutlery " and guns everything from handgonnes to lugers and 1911`s  pretty sure it`s a wall gun !

It's a four man weapon, Hanshi.  One to aim, one to spin the barrels, one to tend the match and one more to flip open the pans and fire it. Then it takes half an hour to reload.  There is a rude word for the reloading drill.

No it is crew served - they mount was placed in the ground like a modern tripod, you had 3 barrel systems that attached and were removed as a unit and a servant behind you loading the extra barrel units - like they do when changing the barrels on Ma Duce....  'SNTY"
