Well, after having leukemia twice, one bone marrow transplant,  thyroid cancer that spread into 38 lymph nodes with three neck disection surgeries to remove all that, two lower back procedures that effectively ended my law enforcement career then the sepsis, coma and 8 amputation, skin grafts and reconstruction procedures starting 5 years ago I figure that I'm still here to do something important.
I only get cantankerous when I realize that I keep forgetting to write down what it was that I was supposed to do!

Just because this all started in December of 2013 and it's now January, it's now been 6 years and 1 months but to start the new year I've gotten my third pair of prosthetics. This time around they could reuse some of the components so I got a break on the price;only $10,000 instead of $16,000. How's that for a tax right off?
