mainspring

I need a mainspring for an old Dixie 1-P lock.
It was never a great lock and they probably stopped making them 30 years ago but it is what I put on the rifle when I didn't have much money and back then it cost $19.95.
The nearest equivalent lock plate is the L&R Sam Hawken lock but the internal works are different so I'm hoping someone knows who could manufacture a new spring.

A friend found a mainspring for an Italian gun for me at Friendship. He looked into a vendor's box of odds and ends and there it was. He bought the whole lock for about $8.

If you are close to any rondys or big shoots, give them a look-see.

10-20 years ago I might have found something, but the shoots and rondys have gotten pretty small. I haven't seen a vender with any parts for the last few years.
