Not just pertaining to colonial era crafts and short on technical "how to", there is a new show on the INSP network called Handcrafted America.  The host visits three different craftspeople per episode.  This past tues, had a chair maker, black smith, and glass blower.  Some of the segments have to do with modern items, like one is a person that makes Women's shoes.  But next Tues, March 15, 2016 at 8 pm, there will be a segment on a long rifle builder from North Carolina.  Upcoming episodes involve bladesmiths who make really fancy damascus blades, a carver that makes colonial style trenchers (oblong bowls)  A saddle maker is on the schedule too.

Seeing the various craftsmen and what they do, gives me ideas for making some of "our" gear.
