A while back I bought a big box of ML stuff from a builders estate.  All the parts for this pistol, except a scrap of maple were in that box. A 6" stub of .45 rifle barrel., i think grn. mt. a little Italian lock that sparks nice, maybe a bess forward pipe and sea service guard, anyway this is her 17 oz.  click to see few more, thanks for lookin and comments taken 2nd tuesday of the week......Tom

I am the one your mom warned you about!

That was just a little chunk of maple left over from a rifle build, no inletting or anything.  I drew it out and removed all the wood that didn't look like a pistol......

crazell

Well, you gonna pull them pistols or whistle Dixie?

Nice little pistol, IMHO.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

I like that a LOT. The gun itself is a neat little piece and the "recycling" aspect of course really appeals to me. I have a mess of cut-offs from rifle barrels breeched and mounted into pistol stock blanks that are almost all the leftovers after cutting rifle stocks from various blanks. What I don't have is time to do anything with them.

Anyone would be proud to tote that. good work there Sir ;D
