Back in 1971 I bought a .45 Navy arms co. "Kentucky" rifle 33" barrel.  After me & 3 son's got done with her---she needed a makeover.  So I stocked it with  walnut wood as that's what it had been.
  He's 6 Y.O and can shoot .22 off bench quite well so we going to break him in Sat. with 15-20 gr..
  Six and has 2 rifles---another generation to the dogs.....Tom

You're starting that grandson out right. I know some adults that couldn't handle that rifle. If he can do it at 6, he has definitely been guided down the right path.  thmbsup
