Thats th part nobody likes about that finish. If ya aint got some callaus, ya just cant do it right. But it is a fine finish when done properly!  (susp) Heck I didnt know anybody else believed!!!
there`s a few of us ! that`s the method I use when finishing a stock .  takes longer , but it`s worth it !  thmbsup

Stopped in for a peek and noticed this darling little thing. Had to congratulate a fine builder on yet another fine rifle. Glad to see that you're still doin' your part to populate the earth with objects of  beauty, functionality and joy.

Thank you razor, it's your secret formula Aqua-Fortis on there.
Range time this morning, not bad for 1st attempt.  Should do even better with a worked up load.  Loaded real easy with .010 patch, .015 or .018 mite cinch up group some.  New owner can do that.  Really a fun little pea shooter to play with....Tom
