[hmm]  Ok some of you who remember the old days of beadwork -  what is the best stitch distance to sew shoulder beaded straps to a leather shirt that didn't get fully stretched hdslp.  Sure appreciate your sugestions.   Thanks

Not fully stretched?  hdslp  Thanks, I will use that one instead of complaining that my leathers have shrunk over the last few years.   ROFL  ROFL

I would question the wisdom of a man of your age and size (height, not necessarily girth) wearing buckskin clothes in amongst dozens, maybe hundreds of people with questionable eyesight carrying loaded rifles. Just sayin'.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

pnic  I'm running out of time  Serious does any one have any suggestions?  As to you fashion consious ones the vertical beadwork and fringe have a very slimming effect! :mini-devil-28492:  Micanopy, any of you guys help me?  I don't want to have the beadwork holding up the whole shirt as I'm sure it will continue to grow(shirt) longer, but I also don't want them to fall off from just being tacked on.  Thanks

Micanopy

Are they loomed beads? Old way was to sew them to a piece of bucked skin and then sew that to the shoulders using a whip stitch to hold everything in place.
