portable camp cooker

Now I aint to sure about the historical correctness of this item or if it even has any beyond the great depression years, but we have a few old coffee cans and juice cans laying around so I am going to try this. I have seen them advertised beginning @ 40.00 plus shipping on upto 100.00 so im going to try to do this for under 5.00

steps:

1.Take a metal juice can using a shaprie divide the can into thirds.
2.Remove the lid and bottom
3.about an inch above the end you choose as the bottom drill half inch holes around the circumfrence of the can
4.at the sharpie line nearest the bottom drill 3 holes equal distance around the can and place bolts of corresponding size through the holes and fasten with a nut, leave the nut with a flat side facing up as these are the supports your grate will sit on.
5. cut out 4x4 square two inches from the top for a fuel door
6. File around the edge of one of the lids so it will fit inside of the cooker on your bolts
7. drill many holes in the grate

Those little stoves  work good. I also make little alcohol stoves out of cans when i was working i wood heat my lunch on one everyday.
