Depends on the maker.... I have seen a couple of really nice ones and a couple I would just as soon pour the powder around instead of down the barrel....

Well there's a couple of buddies on here already, Ol' Mtmike  and Hanshi    , howdy do boys, looks like I'm in good company already..... Sure do wish it would warm up in my neck of the woods, cold enough to freeze a  buzzard right out of his feathers.

    Howdy there Woody, thanks for the welcome.  I just about froze my brass monkey off yesterday, spent the day butchering a steer that got his head stuck in a gate.  Bonus meat in the smokehouse now though.

Getting much too slow around here, IMO.  Yes, we all miss Mongrel's knowledgeable posts and I, along with you all, implore him to post even if it's only to say, "I'm alive"!  but what about the rest of us?  POST!  Even if you simply rehash a much worn topic, ask questions already answered, lying well concerning something, bragging on your gun(s) or telling us something about them, game pics, gun pics, target pics, favorite this and/or that, least favorite this and/or that, favorite gun(s) AGAIN, favorite game/caliber(s)/loads/builder(s)/etc, favorite barrel length/lock/gun styles/etc, favorite time of day/whiskey/season/year/month/day/etc, etc......

Got it??!  If you're new just POST, d$#*%@ it!  Say anything - you surely know, however, that one DOES NOT insult another person's dog/cat/horse/child/gun......not sure about wives/brothers/inlaws.  It's IS alright to insult each other as long as neither is a newbie.   So P.O.S.T!
