Getting much too slow around here, IMO.  Yes, we all miss Mongrel's knowledgeable posts and I, along with you all, implore him to post even if it's only to say, "I'm alive"!  but what about the rest of us?  POST!  Even if you simply rehash a much worn topic, ask questions already answered, lying well concerning something, bragging on your gun(s) or telling us something about them, game pics, gun pics, target pics, favorite this and/or that, least favorite this and/or that, favorite gun(s) AGAIN, favorite game/caliber(s)/loads/builder(s)/etc, favorite barrel length/lock/gun styles/etc, favorite time of day/whiskey/season/year/month/day/etc, etc......

Got it??!  If you're new just POST, d$#*%@ it!  Say anything - you surely know, however, that one DOES NOT insult another person's dog/cat/horse/child/gun......not sure about wives/brothers/inlaws.  It's IS alright to insult each other as long as neither is a newbie.   So P.O.S.T!

    There is one sure fired way to get the Mongrel to comment:      Pick on a certain fence stretching  character that cant shoot a Flintlock to save his life.      Spark up a topic  concerning   Percussion versus Flint.      But then a Red  Badger gets into the fray,     cant  have any fun anymore,     and I know better that to challenge him to anything.       Have not picked on a Norwegian in months.

It's sad when a badger cries since their arms are so short they cannot wipe away the tears. Anyway he's not overbearing, he's just tall and it looks like that. But even when he gets his dander in an uproar, just leave a jug somewhere where he can find it and he becomes a jolly good fellow again.

My opinion on it is it's because of the registration more than anything. A lot of folks only fool with them during hunting season anyhow. If you don't log in here in 6 months I think you get canned. If a fella wants to ask something with the next season coming up and he can't log on then he's going to one of the other muzzleloader places to ask it.

I'll try to do better though, I just don't talk much in real life so it's the same online I guess. There's a good bunch of guys here and I like the place.

Ain't got one that's been ignored that long.  But, it shouldn't be too long till I get the nice squirrel .32 from TVM.  When I get it I will make everyone sick with pics after pics after pics.....and brag after brag after brag.....
