I have a pattern for one of these hoods around somewhere ! see if I can find it for you ! dont worry it`s for the western wolf ear pattern !

Thanks Beowulf, there was a pattern floating around an I thought I'd saved it but have searched on here an the other big forum I frequent an can't find it now!

I actually read that the other night when doing a search for the wolf eared hood it had popped up.

Good pics of one but I'm not seeing an description of how he put it together other than using a running stitch, an it appears that the front piece is about 12" long. I found picks of another one ill post pics of.

The red wool one you just posted was the one I save pics of, looks like that one would be easy to design a pattern for
