Just thought I'd stick my 2 cents in on this one. I have had one of Jack's Dad's bags for quite a while and have just ordered a second one. You aren't going to find better quality for the money, these are really nice baags.

Just thought I'd let whoever know that my new bag arrived a couple of days ago and I'm really pleased. The bag is as good as the one I've had for a while and the strap is a whole lot nicer. If you need one, don't hesitate to go with the Greybear.

I would like one of those only with a hunter star.

I've  got one of Greybear's bags and it's nicely made. Will probably outlast me by a few decades.

Darn!  I got an email back from Greybeard Leather telling me that he was in the army and was pretty backlogged.  His bags look like the nicest ones I've seen.  He said there was a long waiting list of over a year now-if this is the same Greybeard that runs Greybeard Leather?

I have one too. Great quality and a good price. Unfortunately, Grey Bear Sr. died and I don't know if Grey Bear Jr. has continued the business.

Yes, a loss to us all but if I remember correctly, Jr. had contemplated taking over but I don't know if he did or not.

Post this in the wanted section of the forum with the heading WTB ___________ (want to buy)).
You might also want to search other places like Etsy; https://www.etsy.com/search?q=black%20powder%20shooting%20bag

Or EBay; https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEATHER-POSSIBLES-BUSHCRAFT-MOUNTAIN-MAN-BLACK-POWDER-Bag-with-Adjustable-Strap/282954875408?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D44040%26meid%3D32794e60b2404a03989b2ad876156d25%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D332657272172%26itm%3D282954875408&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

Also, some of our members make various accoutrements such as bags, horns, etc. Beowulf comes to mind but he's not the only one. Contact those folks and tell them what you want.

There are also kits available so you can make your own using pre-cut leather pieces. http://www.octobercountry.com/bridger-possible-bag-kit/

October Country sells a nice bag too. I bought one of their's second hand and it is about the same quality as the Grey Bear bag.
