I am in need of some prayers please.

My girlfriend hasn't been feeling well and I made her go to my endocrinologist this past week.  This same doctor treated me for thyroid cancer ( papillary carcinoma) 9 years ago and when he was examining her found a small lump in her neck just under her skin so a needle biopsy was performed.  The results were not good, which came back showing that this is Hurthle cell neoplasia, a rare form of thyroid cancer.  We go back to the doctor on Tuesday morning to plan for surgery.  It isn't possible to determine if this is benign or malignant until the tumor is removed, frozen and examined and then she must follow up with a body scan to see if there has been any spread to other parts of the body.  I am devastated, more so than she is, at least outwardly.  She needs some prayers, as do I.  That's all, plain and simple.
