The Powderhorn Clan's Annual teaching and living history event, hosted by the Cooper Ranch on the historic Hassayampa River near Prescott, AZ.

Black powder matches, primitive archery, seminars, demonstrations, traders, blacksmiths, children's activities, guided high desert treks, and much more! Walk in the footsteps of men like Captains Pauline Weaver and Joe Walker.

Sorry to have missed that one---didn't know in time.   BUT--the Spring mt. free trappers of sunny Las Vegas NV. are having there winter rondy over Vet's day weekend at the Spring mt. state park west of the city.  check SMFT.org for the partiklers....  look for a piramid tent or ask for "Rebar's" camp....see you   Tom

And a right handsome lad you are. Seriously tho', really enjoy the pictures that you post, makes me wish I had the time & $'s to join in. (It's only a 14 hour drive from here to Prescott.) How many of these events are in your area per year?

We have 3, sometimes 4, in AZ. Lots more in CA, UTAH, New Mexico, etc.
