First one of these I've ever done. I went with one bung for now, but may add another later.

Forged the staples. The eagle came out ok, but I think I could do better with better tools then an hobby knife.

not a thing wrong with that  ! my first scrimmed horn was done with a reworked butter knife !  you sometimes surprise yourself at what you can do even using cobbled together tools !

I use a No.11 Exacto blade clipped off about 1/8" for 90% of my engraving! .... Has always worked for me!
