I came in from work yesterday to find two packages. a new Mike Lange built smoothrifle for my 11yr. old son
and one for myself. It was cold out but after we had a little time to admire the fine work and craftmanship that
Mike put in to them, and after my son calmed down just a bit, as he no idea at all that he was going to be the owner
of a fine m/l like this, especialy one that fits him so well, we swabbed them out, installed a flint in mine, and went out to
brave the chilly wind and kill some pop cans that we happen to have in season right now. both guns functioned flawlessly
none of the pop cans escaped on that trip. the guns are all cleaned up and put away for now, with a paper hunt in the plans
possibly as early as this sat. I will post pics of both guns as soon as I can, and will give results of our paper hunt when that
happens.

That is a sweet pair of smokepoles, can't wait to see some pics of you and your son shooting them together.

Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

I bet our son is excited.
That's great, get him started off right.
