This was held south of Prescott, AZ on the Hassayampa river. We were on a private ranch, 17 miles from the two lane highway. We concentrated on teaching primitive skills & it seemed to be a success.

Rev, you guys go to the neatest places! Looks like F.U.N.! Hopefully no one exploded making powder......Making charcoal, and extracting saltpetre from manure always seemed like they'd be the easiest of the three components to come up with...sulfur on the other hand always seemed to me at least like it would be hard to find based on the geography of a region. Did he talk about where to find it? Out west with all of the geothermal activity, extinct volcanoes and such I imagine it was easy to find. Back east here though...not too much going on. May have to start looking for sources of it. :)
