this was a 50.00 project rifle that has a special place in my heart.

Price was right, decoration is not traditional but suits you, I would be proud of it.  dntn
How does it shoot? hntr

well the gun is only traditional in the sense that its a side lock, other than that it lacks itself of authenticity so I decided to have some fun with it the ram skull is a gothic aries also being my zodiac sign, the underside has a catholic cross and the inscription reads "no weapon forged against me shall prosper" in latin. I didnt really expect much to come from it but I wondered what effects I could create with pencil and a good clear coat. She shoots true out to 75 yds and with a 55 gr of goex 3f load she isnt to bad on the shoulder either, works better as a saddle gun than does my Hawken or Kentucky rifle and a lot lighter too. I intend to install some target sights, considering adding the gpr hunter peep sights so I can do a little yote pelt harvesting. I only wish CVA made this barrel in .45!!!!
