i dont really need them for anything PC but i could also use them for PC but where can i get some leather chaps that would also be good for coon hunting and hog hunting the briars are getting real bad around and iv got a buddy who has land in southern indiana that has some wild hogs loose that he wants me to help get rid of and the early part of squirrel season around here its to hot for me to use my non PC briar proof bibs

if you do not care if they are pc get some batwing chaps, they have clips up the leg for attachment but were an invention of the rodeo riders. more correct is shotgun chaps. called shotguns because when you hold them up it looks like a double barrel shotgun. but a pain to take on and off. you know one leg at a time.

Hammerhead , the batwing chaps ,would most likely be cooler to wear if your going to be doing a lot of walking in them , and as was said easy to put-on and off. If you have a country & western store in your area or saddle shop you might find some to check out. Its not all that hard to make a pair. Check with Tandy leather , might find a pattern. Here , near the border , you can get them pretty cheap from Mexico.
I think Cabellas and/or Sportsmans guide sold "brush busters"  basicly heavy dennim pants with leather panels on the front  of the legs. We use chaps quite a bit in this area , but mostly on horseback not for spending a lot of time on the ground. They get pretty hot and heavy . if you do much walking in them.
