.40 sight-in

Went to the range yesterday and ended up just practicing off hand at 25 yards.  Old (and bad) eyes - Got another eye doc visit tomorrow - made it hard to focus on the front sight so I mostly shot by sense of smell.  And did better than I did from the bench.  .40 TVM flint Lancaster, 40grns 3F.  4 flyers (3 called) with about 2 dozen shots; 2.5".  Target already had a few .22LR holes but the .40 tore the center out.

Thanks, Dogshirt,  but not only do I keep getting floaters I've got too much pressure in my eyes he wants to monitor.  Doesn't matter since I shoot blindfolded, anyway.

Looks like you have her sighted in Good!
If you lived in California you could get a prescription for a natural medicine for the too much pressure thing.
But since you dont You can get medicine at the Pharmacist that Costs 5 times as much and will work 1/2 as well And have far worse side effects..
(Heck you could Grow it yourself???)

     Unfortunately we will always have the floaters.  No way to get rid of them.  But that is some good shooting, Hanshi.  All you need now is the 50 yard bench target.
    I know its not what most would do, BUT try a peep sight on the tang.  May not belong on the TVA but Its amazing how clear the target is at 50 yards.  For years I used a peep sight on the bowstring with a 6x scope on my bow.  It may not be acceptable, But atleast the arrow hit a 6 inch bull  at 80 yards.  To each his own, what ever works.
    That is still nice shooting!
