Finished up a couple of plain huntin horns an thought Id give ya a look see. Both are double twist with pine plugs with brass nails.  The top holds Fg that I shoot in my 12 ga smoothbore an the bottom holds FFg that I shoot in my 54s. The straps are just some scrap leather that needed to be used. I stained them with potassium magnatate (Maybe thats spelled right) that Horner 75 clued me in on. (Thanks Rick) These are just plain ole huntin horns that will get some hard use an will probably be fallen on a few times by an overweight redneck. I hope I built them tough enough to take it [con

Very nice hunting horns! ... Sometimes the simpler horns are best and I think these made that grade!

Wattlebuster, I'll be glad when I develop the skill to make "plain" horns like that. thmbsup
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

Those are good looking horns. I wish I the talent and the time, but as the saying goes, I have to many irons in the fire at this time.
