Fall Fest 2011
DRIPPING SPRINGS' own Celebration of Early Texas is back, and is sure to be a feast for the senses.  Fall Fest is a daylong festival of fun, food, entertainment, and education.  Saturday, September 24th, from 10am-4pm- come on out to the Pound House and join in on the fun!  Adults and children of all ages will be able to learn and participate in:
•Tours of the restored Farmsteas led by docents with specialized knowledge and historical dress
•Over 40 Artisan demonstrations of genuine Texas pioneer skills and crafts
•Old-time blue grass and folk music and storytellers
•Fall Fest Children's Theater
•Pioneer Games
•Silent Auction
•The Pound's Grounds Cafe' featuring homemade pound-cake, coffee, homemade lemonade and scrumptious treats
•Savory BBQ plates, hot dogs, Old Fashioned ice cream
•Horse Drawn Covered Wagon rides

Wish I could go with you and help bu aint allowed to spend more than 30 minutes in a vehicle yet, fear of blood clots and all that. Dr. says if I screw up his hard work he's gona be pissed at me! LOL!

Well, that kind of stuff takes you out of the picture for a while but you'll be back soon enough.  There's always next year too!

Guess this is the thing that makes America so great, just a shame all these historical events are so far and wide spread.  But then again,   at least we can all share our own little piece of it with the others and make this site what it is.   flwa  A family affair.  Hats off sheriff, got to check them firearms at the door!
