Tom,
Thank You

I don't need any special recognition. I only did a job that I was trained to do..

I took a job that I knew the risks, but enjoyed to do..
Through the years, I had good calls and bad ones..

That day was a very bad one,
I thought I had seen the worse while in Vietnam.
But 9/11 only showed that some people have no respect for life...

Please,  Lets not forget the ones that gave all.
I consider myself a surviver on that day.  I'm not a Hero.

The Hero's were the ones that lost their life that day.

The live Hero's are the Mothers, Wives and Girlfriends that were home not knowing if their love ones were in the buildings when they fell.

My wife is a Hero,  She sat by the TV and watched, worried and was Praying that I was not on the list of missing and lost in the fall of the buildings..

Due to the phones not working, I was not able to make contact with her to tell her I was OK and only had slight injuries..
Must of been hell for her not knowing what was going on..

Being married 38 years, I can just imagine the pain she was going though the 6 hours of no contact with her..

As I said, I don't need any special recognition.

It's not what tool you use to hunt with.
It's that you use the tool Legally and Ethically

Sorry Tony, as far as I'm concerned you deserve a hell of a lot more recognition then your getting! You ARE a hero!So you might as well get used to the small amount we are able to give you. Thanks, Tony!
