get ready to drop a bundle.

you need to know what bow you want there are several different styles.  Each uses a slightly different type of arrow.  I use an Osage self bow rated at about 58 # ad 28" arrows with a #10 point, my bow cost me $200 and  arrows run $50.00 for a dozen.  then if I want to add hunting points the cost goes up.

Tidbit from Lone Wolf while at the BSA camp.  Do  you know how to tell the difference between a war arrow and a hunting one?  To hunt an animal the rib cage goes vertically, so the notch on the arrow is to line the point to go between the ribs, while on a war arrow it is notched so the arrow goes horizontally between  a mans ribs.  He added that the arrow will spiral in flight but the intent is at the point of beginning.   Thunderheart I am 18 many times over and it still pays to sit quietly and listen to your elders for they have much to offer in the ways of the old days and wisdom to live by.

Pictures please, that will help us determine a couple of things, like what kind of bow it is and possibly what it is made of,  Also look for any makers marks, which might shed some light on what draw weight it is and other useful bits of information.
