Need a rollcall of our "family" across the south. With the wicked weather that's been going on down that way, need to make sure you all are OK. Post Up.

We were very blessed today as 5 funnel clouds were spotted in our area. only one touched down and it was after it passed us.

NC got hit hard by the storms yesterday that came through.  Past through here about 1:00. We were lucky right here where I live we were just on the edge.  Several tornadoes were sited alittle north of here.  We had winds 15 - 20 mph about all day with gusts up to 50 mph.  Lost power for awhile.  The further east it went it got worst . There were a number of tornadoes with alot of damage , 21 people were killed.

Ditto...and I believe the fatalities have been bumped up to 22 now.
Hundreds injured, thousands impacted through destruction of homes, cars, boats, businesses, jobs, etc.

We live just a few miles north of Raleigh that with all the constant warnings about the large tornado headed for Raleigh, told my wife to change into jeans and tennies, filled our pockets with our wallets, money, keys, meds, and a good pocketknife...then watched things close...the twister went right through Raleigh, which put the outer edge of it 3-4 miles below us...we were very lucky.

Huh?  Weather?  the only weather i seen lately is the storm that had us all parked in the basement of the event center at Woolaroc for 3 1/2 hours... amazinf how many buckskinners you can pack in a small area! 

other than that life has been good!  3 weekends and three Vous' I am about beat but I have this coming weekend and am looking to see where I'll end up!

Kansas might get some bad press from time to time for bad weather but the back East crowd really has taken a hit this time. Prayers up for all involved.

  We give up.Last week tornado touched down just 20 miles from moms house,and now North carolina gits hit.Dorothy aint just in Kansas anymore.

It has been an unusal Spring here and they say another front is suppose to come through tomorrow night .  It is not suppose to be as bad as the last one.  We better watch out!

kybackwoodman sounding off and soggy!! weve be beaten and battered here in west ky, but aside from some high water and a few leaks were ok. my little son who lives with his mom in durham, nc saw some bad weather two, tornadoes and such but they are ok now.  thank god for that!
