did tribes east of the rockies use chevron beads?

i was wondering if anyone knows, if the tribes or traders east of the rockie's use wear or trade with chevron beads? i know out here in the northwest they were big trade and worn alot.  if anyone know's , please let me know.

hey old salt. i didn't have the two wikipedia site. they were very informative.. i had the fur trader site for a awhile. thanks for sharing those sites!! i'm always looking for historical info... like i've said, i love this site .
